Chase has reported that the first week is always the hardest, there are so many orientation meetings and its really tedious learning about where everything is, what everything is and how to do everything. Thankfully, they are just about done with all of that and they can get down to the real business.
His district is full of very hard working, motivated, missionaries. They are all determined to get the most out of every second they have at the MTC.
They have 2 really good teachers. One is VERY devoted, intense, the other really passionate about missionary work and he loves teaching the missionaries.
THE FOOD: good; just like the Cannon center. Full course meals; salad, fruit dessert and main meal. He feels very satisfied, until he gets hungry for his 2nd dinner, which strangely is not served at the MTC.
Chase says he is very happy where he is at. "The Holy Ghost is very strong here and we are learning how to use the spirit through our teaching.
